Eating human flesh

Since last week  has opened the trial of a German
citizen accused of killing another man and eating bits of his body. Interestingly, the victim agree to be killed and to be eaten (!), he also wanted to be mutilated alive and be separated from his own penis. Both men tried to eat it before the victim was stabbed to death. The whole scene was taped on video.

It seems that cannibalism is non as uncommon as you might expect... And I just can wonder what reasons could make someone wanted to eat another human being:

• Being afraid of Mad Cow disease (specially in UK)


• Respect more animal than Human (easy...)


• It might be easier to find decent meat from man
  than from animal grown in agricultural industry (think of McDonald) 

But I really struggle to get why you would like to be eaten. Even more I don't get offering the opportunity to another man eating your penis altogether...

The last interesting fact is Germany doesn't see cannibalism as a crime and the victim wanted to be killed (proven by the video).
The future of the trial is relatively uncertain regarding the charge.
