A big fish story

A couple of day ago, I have watched the latest Tim Burton's movie, 'Big Fish', I really liked it and after  thinking of it several times, I realised that there's probably a lot of 'Big Fish' stories. How can you defined a 'Big fish' story? Well, It would probably be a story that looks very unlikely or impossible but thinking about it, it's better to keep a good story and forget the crude reality.

I got one coming from my Grandparents. They met during WW2 in a city of the south of France. They started to date each other at the end of the war. The French Riviera was bombed regularly by allied and each attack was warned by loud alarm so people could take refuge into bunkers. It was close to the end and the daily alarm weren't followed by any bombing anymore. My grandmother was working in a factory when a bombing alert rang, she was tired of the useless alarms and didn't want to hide in a bunker for nothing. My grandfather, who was working elsewhere, came and beg her to come with him in the bunker until she accepted to go. When they went out the whole factory was destroyed. 

They have spent all their life together the death of my grandfather in December.
